Red Kent Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 After watching Cahill get sent off for nothing I've come up with the idea that in major tournaments like the World Cup and EURO Championships there should be a Live Appeals Panel consisting of three people. If a player gets sent off, he leaves the field and has the chance of appealing the decision there and then. The three panel members then decide to agree or rescind the red card, if they decide to rescind the red card the player is allowed to rejoin the game. I think this would improve things.

Jarg Armani Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Kev you're a bad blue. Admit it, you've got loads of blue mates and you agree with them about all sorts.

Ramón Benítez Hernández Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Cahill should get sent off for breathing.
Stevie H Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 perhaps every fan in the ground could have a voting devie beneath their seats and they could all vote on it having watched the replay on a big screen. simon cowell could chair the panel and pass arch comment about the quality of fouls and dives.

Even if there that been a 'live appeal panel' at today's game, i doubt that they would have overturned Cahill's red.
fyds Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 it is impossible for Tim Cahill to get sent off for nothingAt last - a voice of reason!
Behind Enemy Lines Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 the only disappointment was that Lucas Neill didn't get sent off too
Snoeker Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 perhaps you should also give Cahill a free vuvuzela and a lollipop. His sending off is pure Karma.
