The Paisley Underground

Any good?

 

Been listening to The Feelies for a while now and somebody suggested that I listen to some of the bands roughly tagged as the Paisley Underground.

 

I've discovered so far that the Rain Parade were the exact blueprint for The Stone Roses. Green on Red are pretty good and The Long Ryders were pretty cool too. The Dream Syndicate sound good aswell.

 

I read that Prince was a HUGE fan of this scene and named Paisley Park records after it and obviously wrote stuff for The Bangles.

 

Anything else worth listening to?
