Got a new pc, so I want to format the hard drive on my old one and flog it as its not a bad pc, just not powerful enough to run the stuff I want to use. Didnt come with any installation disks, but the hard drive is partioned into the user bit and the recovery part. The formating seems straight forward enough to do, but when i try it comes up with a message aboot the files being in use by another programme and wont let me. Ive looked but to my dispair, canny find anything that relates specifically to this problem.

Probably not looked hard enough, but if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to share them. As long as theyre sensible.
