Is this the right thing to be seen to be protesting about if we want to unite all of our fans against G & H ?

 

A big big percentage of Liverpool fans in the city and outside it, will today be thinking 'good, it was time for Rafa to go'. People may not like that but its the truth, and upping the ante on this issue is only going to divide us.

All we want is our football club back. They won't give it to us on a plate. So we have to fight for it, and make sure we get it.

You know I agree with all that John, but then why time the protest on the day the owners make a decision that say 50% of Liverpool fans will agree with? If a protest goes ahead tonight its undoubtedly about the decision to sack Rafa.

 

Why not let Rafa go (if go he must) and then have a protest the owners next week ? I understand that media attention will be focused now, but this will just be reported as a protest about sacking the manager.

Maybe. I fear it might undermine the cause. There's plenty in the city who do want Rafa out, and they aren't going to have any sympathy with tonight's protest if they feel it is about calling for him to stay, and i think that's how its going to be perceived.

Our fans for the most part have sat idly by while the c**** have raped our club and its about time we made our voice heard. I agree with Gibo, its a chance to build momentum. A chance to start getting people on the bandwagon against the owners. A chance to get the message out there about what is REALLY wrong at our club.

 

If you're about in the City you should get there tonight. If you can make it at all - for however long - you should be there tonight. There was a time many years ago when this clubs fans would have been in uproar and these two c**** would have been hounded out of town. Not now. You, me (i've sat back too long as well), all of us need to start making our point stronger. It's not getting through at the moment so let's shout louder. Let's get our fkin club back. I'll be there tonight. If you're not then you're a let down to yourself and your fellow fans. Tonight isn't just about Rafa (and even if you don't like him you should, really, be slightly annoyed at the way the manager of LFC has been treated over the last three years). Tonight is about making a stand about what these no marks are doing to our club. The one man trying to make a stand has gone so now you have to get off your a*** and do it yourself.
