Gunga Din Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 they're a bit late releasing prices this year, arent they? normally the renewal is out the week after the last game. wonder if they are working out how much they can raise them by. my guess is they'll be at lest £50 more expensive than last season, and probably looking at £750 minimum on the Kop
oakie bob Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 They where £634 last season so probably will be 700
Lou Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 my guess is they'll be at lest £50 more expensive than last season, and probably looking at £750 minimum on the KopYou're making an assumption that the decision makers are reasonable people and would be concerned at upsetting their customer base if there were steep rises in ticket prices. Nothing would surprise me any more with the two greedy idiots in charge of our club. I've already asked myself what I would do if, say, they doubled the ticket price. I'm not sure of the answer yet
Sion Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 VAT has gone back up, so it will at least go up by that much. Plus I would imagine a natural increase.
Metro Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Hard on the heels of the news in the press this morning that we haven't really got a pot to p*ss in for transfers next season (old news indeed), I get told that demand for season tickets next season has fallen away. Anyone on the waiting list might have a better chance soon if that's true! Anyone else heard that?
allez les rouges Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 they wont know that until the renewals go out
Metro Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 they wont know that until the renewals go out They are out. And mine is little changed from last year.
Lou Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 They are out. And mine is little changed from last year.Really? I've not heard a thing and the new prices are not yet up on the official site. Out of interest - how much?
Cam Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 they wont know that until the renewals go outTrue. Or at least until the deadline for 'cheap renewals' passes. It may be that 'new' demand for STs is down but the club won't know how many returns they'll get... and with a huuuuuge waiting list already it's not likely they'll be too bothered. Unless they start thinking of the problem of filling a new stadium. Luckily we haven't spent a penny on it yet...
BG Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 You're making an assumption that the decision makers are reasonable people and would be concerned at upsetting their customer base if there were steep rises in ticket prices. Nothing would surprise me any more with the two greedy idiots in charge of our club. I've already asked myself what I would do if, say, they doubled the ticket price. I'm not sure of the answer yet Given their motives, the club's financial position and the demand it could be seen as surprising that they haven't put up prices very substantially already.
Molby Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 True. Or at least until the deadline for 'cheap renewals' passes. Unless they start thinking of the problem of filling a new stadium. Luckily we haven't spent a penny on it yet... apart from the embezzled £50m
Metro Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Really? I've not heard a thing and the new prices are not yet up on the official site. Out of interest - how much? I'm in the Premier Club, upper tier of the Centenary Stand which includes upholstered seats, programmes etc. Cost is £2,100 for ALL home matches and chances for away games as well. This is hardly changed from the previous season AND this year it looks like it incorporates car parking as well, judging by the small print on the missive I've got. Incidentally, looks like I may not be able to go this season!
johngibo YPC Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Cost is £2,100 for ALL home matches and chances for away games as well. You must have been Doubley pissed off after Reading!

Row47 Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Even £690 is £2 a game allowing for the VAT increase again
