Always liked him as a player and his offer to play his final season at Bilbao for free, was nothing short of remarkable.

Bilbao offered him a testimonial this season.

No worries. I only noticed it, as it was mentioned in Sid Lowe's La Liga round up in the Guardian. Real shame that Joseba and this story have not been highlighted in more detail

 

I thought it was fantastic to give some local kids the opportunity to play. Looked like a lot of fun, although I wouldnt have wanted to be one of the kids who got mobbed after scoring!!!!
