kop205 Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Pretty much what the topic title says really. Mate having his stag do in Liverpool on a Saturday night, looking to set the ball rolling in the afternoon, starting at 2pm and finisihing and 8pm when we'll go for food and then hit some of the bars. He wants the afernoon to take in a few of the proper pubs - it isn't going to be a massive, rowdy group, at least not at that stage. Those from out of town are staying around the Dock somewhere, so the first pub will be the Baltic. He wants another 6 stops after that. Thoughts? One suggestion has been 1) Baltic 2) Munro (which I think worth a visit for the food but not necessairly just as a pub) 3) Alma de Cuba 4) Jacaranda 5)Swan or Grapes (not totally sure about either to be honest - is the Dispensary a better shout?) 6) Pilgrim 7) Phil. We're missing out the Cracke because that was part of the afternoon circuit on my bro's stag do, as were a couple of those others, and so we'd rather it was a bit different as there'll be a few of the same people. Another suggestion has been 1 Baltic 2 Cornmarket 3 Rigbys 4 Vernon 5 Excelsior 6 Ship 7 Dr Duncan's. Not sure about numbers 2, (which I don't know that well), 4 and 5 in there though? Any other routes that people would recommend?
