They're absolutely insane! Check out the debt to turnover ratios from pretty much every club's accounts. The league is broken.

Every club, with the exception of the Mancs and Arsenal, are spending way in excess of 50% of turnover on wages, some near 100%. Totally unsustainable.

 

You can see why, even with their debt, the Mancs are still more viable as a business than most. All those teams whose wages bill is substantially over 50% of revenue are on the road to ruin, but they'll see no other choice if they want to stay in the league.

Its crazy and needs to change but I can't see it happening for a while yet. La Liga is in the same boat if not worse off.

Gold & Sullivan are g*******s but they're spot on about West Ham's wages, they're nothing short of scandalous! £67m for a club of their size is insane! Their wage bill wouldn't have been far off ours the season before

Our turnover is 185m and wage bill 103m. But we made a £55m loss before tax.

 

So where has that £137m gone?
