I suppose Newcastle will hang in the Premier League for a decade or two, but I can't see West Brom or any of the playoff teams staying in for more than a season (even the mighty Cardiff :P )

Any opinions on who will be the third team to go up? I still think Forest has the best chance.

I still think Forest has the best chance.

Even though they were beat 2-1 by Blackpool in the 1st leg?

A forest fan in work was worried this would happen, cos Blackpool have been playing great over the past couple of months, whereas Forest have been on a downer. I'd love to see Forest up in the top-flight again, but it's looking less likely. Hope I'm proved wrong though.

Would like to see Blackpool go up.

Theres a bloke at work who's grandson signed for them in January from Hearts who is on the verge of the first team there, all the info I have heard via him about the Club/Holloway etc is all good.

,Ian Holloway is a nutter and would light up the Premiership.

My folks are season ticket holders, and I've been down to watch a few times myself this season. Great to watch, and an absolute riot to read Holloway's comments in the local papers.

I just hope that if they do go up, they don't overspend. I'm pretty sure they'll do it sensibly, as it is they are one of the only clubs in the League with no debt to speak of. A fantastic little club, and seeing them in the Premiership would certainly do a lot to restore my faith in the game.

but they got the away goal. they're lucky it wasn't 0-0 cause then they would have needed to score, or something

Aslong as it's not pissing down. The away fans are currently positioned on a temporary stand with no roof cool.gif.

Makes no difference. They should have gone all out for a 1-0 defeat instead. Or summat.

All joking aside, I thought away goals don't count in playoffs?

Great game Forest / Blackpool. Not been a huge amount of quality, but Blackpool dominating, Forest looking to hit with pace on the break. Good atmosphere, and plenty of effort on the pitch, obvious there's a massive prize on offer.
