Red Kent Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 What are you perceptions of this ? I think the walk around will be done in front of a less than half empty stadium, I don't think the stadium will be full either for the game. What do you think will happen ?
Knoxy Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 The players will do the usual lap with their kids and the fans will stay behind to acknowledge it
CarraLegend Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 No idea, the only decent bit is perving on the players tarts and trying to look out for any "im off" type body language.
johngibo YPC Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Its done to thank the fans for their support as much as anything so its right that it is doneBut don't think they should be getting the kids on and everything this year But yeah, think it will be half full
Red Kent Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 The players will do the usual lap with their kids and the fans will stay behind to acknowledge it Yes I agree, but how many fans do you think will stay around to applaud ?
Cobs Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Yes I agree, but how many fans do you think will stay around to applaud ? are the Chelsea fans being kept in?
muleskinner Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Yes I agree, but how many fans do you think will stay around to applaud ? Less than other years, more than some other years.
Red Kent Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 are the Chelsea fans being kept in? LOL, it might be harder asking them to leave given the right result.
drdooom Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 LOL, it might be harder asking them to leave given the right result. I hope you have the sprinklers ready in that corner of the ground. Better them than the mancs but still.. not good.
Molby Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 not me, I'll be down the steps in tears, regardless of the result
Cobs Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 LOL, it might be harder asking them to leave given the right result. least they can't actually win the title at Anfield
Red Kent Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 not me, I'll be down the steps in tears, regardless of the result The way I'm feeling now, I actually might be jibbing the game. least they can't actually win the title at Anfield Yep, and I'm hoping they don't lose it either.
Gravy Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 The way I'm feeling now, I actually might be jibbing the game. Yep, and I'm hoping they don't lose it either. feck 'em. If they lose it by being beaten at Anfield tough t1tty. I would rather Chelsea won it of course, but ....
Behind Enemy Lines Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 ...I don't think the stadium will be full either for the game. Really?
stressederic Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 There should just be a big queue around the stadium where every fan gets to shake Pepe Reina's hand and pat him on the back.
Red Kent Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 There should just be a big queue around the stadium where every fan gets to shake Pepe Reina's hand and pat him on the back. One of a very small number of players who deserves applause.
Falconhoof Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Its done to thank the fans for their support as much as anything so its right that it is doneBut don't think they should be getting the kids on and everything this year yeah their kids can f*** off this year
stressederic Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 One of a very small number of players who deserves applause. Could maybe then carry him back to his car. Then carry his car back to his house.
JonShar Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 The stadium will be full for the game (it's stupid to suggest otherwise), and the majority of fans will stay for the lap of honour. Fortunately the majority of our fans have more class than some of the t***s, and regardless of abject disappointment after a dismal season will still support the club.
D.Boon Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Yes I agree, but how many fans do you think will stay around to applaud ? At a guess, you wont be one of them?
JonShar Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 At a guess, you wont be one of them? He said "fans".
lfc003 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 What are you perceptions of this ? I think the walk around will be done in front of a less than half empty stadium, I don't think the stadium will be full either for the game. What do you think will happen ? The ground will be full and i believe the crowd will be respectful towards the players, Will be interesting to see if Rafa gets his name chanted strongly tho.
