You see loads of articles and hear loads of peopel moaning that they don't make album covers like they used to.... what are the real classics? Not the ones with just good covers but the ones that took things a step further - I'm thinking of Led Zep 3 with the revolving wheel, Emerson Lake and Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery with it's 3D Geiger monsters, the Durrutti Column's debut album in its sandpaper sleeve designed to destroy the other albums in your collection...... the ones where the cover wasn't just something to look at but did something a bit different as well.... what others are in that same 'not just a cover' category?
