So, do they make it to the playoffs this weekend or do they fold like the second rate club that they are?

Let's hope for the latter eh?

Ohhhh how it will be great if Cardiff go up and the Jacks wallow in the Championship.

Good times.

(I'm preparing for the hammering I'll get if Cardiff fall at the fence. I can take it.)

They all do it in the Football League, not that it makes it any less annoying and small time, but there you go.

As for being excited to make the play-off's, as a tiny club picked by everyone outside Blackpool to be relegated, and generally disrespected by all the so called bigger clubs in the division, I'd say they've every right to have a bit of a party. Staying up was an achievement on the budget they're on.

Yeah by all means be made up Blackpool fans. But invading the pitch is something you do when you've won something or got promoted. It'd be like Spurs fans invading the pitch if they finished 4th.

It wouldn't, and I AGREE invading the pitch is smalltime, fullstop. I think you're being unnecesarily cynical though to be honest, and completely underestimating the achievement. If you want to use a 4th placed Premiership finish as a comparison, try Burnley.

Maybe i'm being cynical but the lower league club I support, the only time they've invaded the pitch in recent memory was when they stayed up on the last day, and won the league. Regardless of where the team was predicted to finish, just qualifying for the play offs is not a pitch invading scenario.

You do realise that some clubs haven't had much if anything to celebrate for decades, don't you?
