Following on from the "where are you at" thread...

 

What comes to mind when you think of Liverpool? Loads of posters have little or no experience of the place by the look of it, maybe some have never even been, some might have just been to the match a few times.

 

What do you think of the image the city has? Does it even have an image - or is it no different to any other city, does it have any more of an identity than a Hull or a Sheffield or an Ipswich, it's just another conurbation that happens to be home to the team you support?

 

Do you dabble yourself in a little bit of mythologising about the city in the same way that many Scousers undoubtedly do, recognising or acknowldeging that for a city of its size its impact in the world has been and is hugely disproportionate, or does that kind of thing make you cringe and a little bit embarrassed for us and turn you off and that?

 

So what says you - it's a boss dramatic magical place that inspires and bewitches or it's just another friggin city by another bleedin sea.
