I imagine that Fulham will rest some of their players again at the weekend (they've got no reason to stick out a full side) and they don#t travel well (in the league at least) anyway. I think we're going to stuff them.

The problem is Rafa can stick with a lineup that won 4-1 or chop and change and either way people will complain.

BIt of double standards there - dropping Lucas after one his best games for us after being let off the leash at home when you've complained flair players like Yossi don't get a run of games in spite of form.

Maxi will defo start having sat out the midweek game. Back 4 should stay the same, did well on Thursday and should stick with that for the rest of the season. it wasn't one of Lucas best games. He did well, and he scored. That was the difference. I think he's had enough starts to know he's loved. The Fulham game is not a Masch/ Lucas one. If he's fit , Aquilani has to start.

In all seriousness, and I know a lot of people have genuinely wanted to see more of him this season, myself included, but how the f*** is a young player supposed to develop if he doesn't get opportunities ? He can't really get opportunities if he's not here more than 4 weeks at a stretch to prove his worth in training, or indeed his regular availability.

 

Far too much International s**** going on here. Is it all FIFA compulsory, or does he/we have some choice in all this ?

Prepare to be disappointed.

The Benfica game was made for Pacheco to come on for 10 mins at the end and yet again he was overlooked, I just hope he doesn't get bored and **** off back to Spain.

Heard a rumour Neil Lennon wanted to take him on loan next season at Celtic, which might be the best thing for him.

And of course defence splitting passes are the forte of the Masch-Lucas combo.
