Wanted to start a new thread for this, The Masters isn't just about Tiger.

The coming weekend is probably my favourite of the whole sporting year with Aintree and the Masters all weekend which is probably my favourite major. So who do people fancy to win it then? One of the best things about Tiger featuring is the odds for everyone else go shooting up and there are some great EW bets.

Personally I'll be going for Schwartzel, Kaymer and Stricker.

Charl Schwartzel is having that year future greats have when they suddenly turn genuine talent into success on the biggest stage - he has absolutely everything in his game to win a major, but he's now won twice on the European Tour already and came second at a WGC Event featuring all the best players in the world (except Tiger), then third at the weekend at the Shell Open on the PGA Tour.

Winning twice then having a 2nd and 3rd on the PGA Tour is a big deal - many top Europeans struggle to crack the game out there. He is around 50-1 most places and is a brilliant bet at that money each way, he's won me a fortune this season as I've bet on him at 10-1 twice to win then 50-1 each way when he came 2nd & 3rd.

Martin Kaymer is top ten in the world and again is a young guy who knows how to win and is on the way to establishing himself as one of the best players in the world. He has a third place on the PGA Tour at a WGC event and has already won again this season on the European Tour. He is about 45-1.

Stricker has been the dominant force on the US Tour for the last year or so, and its surely his time for a major this year. He is probably the best putter in the world which should serve him extremely well on the Augusta greens. Mickelson has been in pretty poor form for sometime now, so Stricker at 25-1 looks the better bet.

There are plenty of long odds outsiders in there as well, Allenby is good odds at 80-1, Lucas Glover at 150-1 and John Senden at 200-1.

Reckon I'll have a little pound each way on a couple of them
