Not sure what Sheff Utd are moaning about there. The Ref had already warned Morgan for holding and he does it again right in front of the ref. They have to be consistant but they also have to see it.

does anyone know when next seasons fixtures are released?

Late June, I think.

I fecking hate Newcastle and was convinced they'd go down again.. and then go bust. The thing that's stood them well is the fact they've been unable to move on some of their 'stars'. They were on so much money no-one would have them and thanks to losing out-of-contract washed-up bums like Owen & Viduka they've been able to afford them.

As a team they were too good to go down from the Premiership and the only reason they did was the managers they've had over the recent years. Sadly they'll be safe next year too. The deluded feckers will be thinking they're heading for top 4.

I think I will put money on Hughton getting the sack first in next year's Prem. He is not glam enough for their way of viewing themselves when in the Premiership even though he is the best manager they have had since Bobby Robson.

Newcastle fans are totally deluded, don't like the club but I'm made up for Kev Nolan.

He's a really good lad I've known since school, a great example of a down to earth footballer who hasn't ever forgotten his roots. He's a die hard red as well.

Looked a cut above everyone in the Championship this season, 15 goals from a traditional central midfield position including a brilliant overhead kick last night.

Yeah Kev's a good lad. Family are sound

I bet Newcastle fans have had a boss laugh this year

They are going for their first trophy in about a million years, what's not to enjoy about it

just shows how bad the championship is when Newcastle and WBA have ran away with it

If they keep Houghton i'd put a bet on them going back down. He'll keep faith with the championship quality players they've already got there who won't be good enough

I dunno,a midfield of Gutierrez,Nolan,Barton and An Other sounds decent to me.

Especially with Guthrie on the bench as a centre mid replacement.

They'll get in a striker, coz we all know how Newcastle like a striker, and they'll have a decent amount of money from their high gate receipts.

Sounds like the one that went down last year to me.

True, but with more experience and confidence.

Seriously think that's a good midfield,certainly if there's a half-decent striker to play with.

There's goals,good passing,aggression (perhaps a bit too much),experience and decent pace.

Maybe he will buy some new players. What makes you think he will keep the faith with the ones he has?

They are Gibo - from Aigburth.

Kev's Dad used to play for the club I was at for years the APH, and I played with two of his brothers during my time there. Played centre half with Ste Nolan a few times who is a very good footballer, and Kev used to come down and watch us quite often (if his Aston Martin the jammy get).

Think Stevie is involved with the Nicosia on a Sunday. Know a couple of lads there and might sign for them next season; they won the nationalSunday amateur cup at Anfield a few years ago.
