He's a complete and absolute c*** that would make a mockery of the club and anything the club had ever stood for. I would be embarrased to attend a match with this prick in charge. Further, I would feel I could never attend another game again. It would be a natural ending (An ending that you get to see when you talk about old season ticket holders that had a 'final straw' that meant they saw the club had changed beyond what they could consider to spend a load of money each season supporting. For each of those there were different reasons. Some things with the club. Somethings outside the club.

As another poster wrote in a previous thread, I'd feel dirty if he took over - particularly if it did coincide with a cash injection to attract top players, which we have been screaming out for for the last 18 months.

 

The proof of the pudding is, though, that there is not a cat in Hell's chance of him joining us until the ownership/ debt side of things is sorted - he's not stupid, I'll give him that.

And i'll add if he were to come he'd leave within 2 years. He'd come up with some excuse and be off for another project. Probably Real Madrid or Barcelona or even Bayern Munich.

newcastle have won the championship with chris hughton, not because he's the best manager, but because they have the biggest resources.

maybe mourinho gets more out of the squad than benitez has this year, i think the likelihood is he does. not sure it's anything like as clear cut he'd get as much out of it as rafa did last season.
