FakeNewsBear Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 it would stop number 19 for the s**** and 4 in a row and might kill slur
sean Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Smalltime gesture, we have to be bigger as a club, we on the other hand, the fans, can be as bitter as we like.
CarraLegend Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 If we cant get 4th then yes but its 3 for 3, if we roll over at Anfield this season they return the favour next season at Stamford Bridge. If they disagree then just lose anyway! If we can get 4th then not a chance no.
Sion Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 depends entirely on what we have left to play for. If nothing then hell yes we should rollover
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 no Let the c**** f*** it up themselves. Rolling over is a hollow victory. Dignity when you win, dignity when you lose
Mike Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 no Let the c**** f*** it up themselves. Rolling over is a hollow victory. Dignity when you win, dignity when you lose city will beat utd i reckon anyway
meepins Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I wouldn't be too unhappy with a reserve team being put out so we can save ours for possible uefa cup games. They will probably beat us anyway so I won't worry too much about it.
CarraLegend Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Oh how we've fallen. Dont see how disliking Man Utd more than Chelsea is a sign of falling myself!
Sion Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Oh how we've fallen. eh? What's that got to do with anything? If we'd have had the chance to do the same to Everton in the 80's i'd have been all for it. And we were boss back then.
Epic Swindle Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Not if we've got a shot of 4th, absolutely no chance. We look after ourselves first. But you just know that game is going to be pivotal in the outcome of the title race.
dorgie Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I hope we will be needing the 3 points for 4th spot, so in that case, we've got to get 100% behind a win.
kop205 Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 If it was the single thing that made the difference betweem United winning the League or not doing so, and it didn't mean us missing out on 4th place - and assuming that owuld actually matter/make a difference long term to our ambitions - then yeah, I'd probably arther see Chelsea win that game than us. But for a start there are lots of 'ifs' in there - and it isn't really a secnario I want to think about anyway, let alone see put up as a poll. Noen of us want United to win it. We'd all rather Chelsea did if it is a straight choice. I don't really want to analyse it any more than that to be honest.
Andy @ Allerton Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 If us winning meant that the Mancs won 4 in a row and 19 league titles then I don't want us to win. It's been a terrible, depressing season, but if they won the league again you'd never heard the end of 'How they've knocked us off our f***ing' perch and how amazing they are winning 4 times in a row.
Crazy Horse Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 You bet. I'd play the youth team, McCarthy style. It all evens itself out...
Gomez Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Damn right. I'm still not even sure I want 4th if it keeps G&H in power.
sean Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 eh? What's that got to do with anything? If we'd have had the chance to do the same to Everton in the 80's i'd have been all for it. And we were boss back then. It's wrong for a club to even think it. If Chelsea win it let them go and win it. I don't think we should entertain the thought. I'd love for utd not to win the league again but it would smack of smalltime, in my opinion, to actually tactically attempt to throw it. I'm more concerned with our woes, on and off the park, as opposed to that shower of c**** in Manchester.
D.Boon Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) Its small time as f*** and goes against everything the game should stand for. If its a meaningless game for us then defiinately. Edited April 3, 2010 by D.Boon
anfield11 Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Pathetic. You mean "Yes" and it's silly to even ask?
sean Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 How could we have the temerity to call ourselves a big club again? How could we moan over Utd getting dodgy decisions or remember the furore on here when McCarthy put out a weak side at Old Trafford? We should try and win every game, it's just that if we lose that one, there's a very large cloud with silver lining.
