madaboutlfc Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) My brother is off to uni after his Alevels and he has done alright academically.. straight As in is GCSEs and AS levels. He intends to study Economics as his undergrad.. He has decided on Bristol as is first choice and Warwick as his second. He had also applied to US as well and had 2290 in his Sat1s.So far Franklin and Marshall have given a $30k annual scholarship offer (extendable annually on grades) which makes it much cheaper than the UK. I do not know much about US colleges but is F&M comparable to the UK unis and are the job prospects similar to the UK unis. In Canada he has an offer from Queens with scholarship of C$9000 but their fees is lower than F&M. It will still cost a bit more than F&M. He is waiting on results from Uni of Toronto but UofT are according to him not going to give much and the choice is between F&M and Bristol. Given the choice which one is a better option UK or US/Canada? Edited April 2, 2010 by madaboutlfc
