I said he had 'half a heart'

I stand by that. He's given some of the biggest s*** house performances i have ever seen

But he's obviously good. Just never in a million years £76m good. But then the top clubs can afford to overpay for the players they want

 

But he missed plenty last night as well. So all last night really proves is that if you give a striker enough chances against an average keeper he will get a couple of goals eventualy!

Torres would get 100 goals in a season playing for that Barca team

I called Zlatan a s***house in that thread too Gibo, don't beat yourself up over it.

 

I'm not. Just don't see why i was grouped in Matty's Norweigen commentator impression when all i questioned was Zlatans heart. Which is still clearly questionable. Obviously all those who said he was s*** were wrong then and wrong now.

But if we are bringing up old posts today, the stupidist post in that thread was Matty saying that Rafa doesn't rate Lucas

Torres's miss at the end of the United game was worse than anything Zlatan did last night.

 

All strikers miss good chances.

But in the YNWA polarised opinions of Zlatan i always thought of myself as one of the few who was in the middle

deep down, everyone knows ibrahimovic is a talented footballer. if he'd scored all the goals he has in other leagues in england, and bottled the odd european and international game, he'd be thierry henry.

 

most of the problem comes down to his lack of big match balls in relation to his talent, and then his demenaour, the fact that he looks like an absolute anus.

This reminds me of an argument I had with a manc on the Guardian website after the Liverpool/United game at Anfield. He tried to say that Vidic had Torres in his pocket all game. I said 'Apart from when he scored?' He said 'yes'.

there was a game earlier in the season, mancs against wolfsburg i think, where berbatov came on for owen after about 20 minutes, and according to uefa had still failed to run further than the wolfsburg keeper by half time.
