Bollix to that - we are out all day at work (when fit!). In addition I will be the one who ends up walking it and wiping it's hole etc.

 

Apart from a dog what other domestics pets would forumites suggest. We've killed enough goldfish to be reported to the RSCPGF - something in the water. Hamsters? They need much looking after?
