5th and 6th are certs for Europa League. If Spurs make the FA Cup Final, then 7th could come into play too, assuming Spurs were to finish top 6.

 

 

We're going to need an almighty display of bottling from the other 3 contenders if we're to get 4th.

We need Spurs to win their replay tomorrow. A Fulham-Pompey semi would effectively rule out 7th place getting a Europa spot, wouldn't it? Assuming Spurts finish higher than 7th that is.

Not sure, I thought Pompey couldn't play in Europe due to administration ? If that's the case, perhaps Pompey getting to the Final is best The one sure thing is that if Fulham make the final, 7th definitely doesn't make it.

 

Either way, it's a sad state of affairs that we're even discussing it

It will cost Liverpool up to 25 million quid for Rafa and his team to leave. I wouldn't bank on us finishing sixth at all. As for players leaving, Masch almost a certainty, IMO, and likewise Torres for financial considerations. As for this big investment this summer. There may be 20 million around for transfers but don't hold your breath. The Hicks and Gillett saga should have made you cautious in that regard!

I can't see us getting 4th although Spurs and City have tougher games. Villa have the easiest run in but I can't see them getting 4th as I expect them to crumble. I have voted 6th but if we win 6 out of 7 matches it might be enough. I only expect us to win around 5 though.
