if as seems almost certain we miss out on 4th, better it is to villa or spurs. man city with money and champs league will attract top players and possibly a top manager and may prove very hard to shift. spurs or villa will have but one season (and probably 2 qualifying games) before they are firmly back where they belong.

dont agree, if Spurs or City get 4th, they'll attract players by playing in the CL, city will attract players because of their money, and it will make it more difficult for us to get back in the top 4

Yeah, City getting 4th doesn't actually change much. Spurs or Villa getting in there would have a far bigger impact on those clubs' prospects.

could be, I suppose city are going to be reinforcing by 'virtue' of their wealth anyway so another one of these imposters having a run at good players could mean a double whammy for us. Lets hope we can at least be in a position next season to take advantage of a more even fight between the top 4/5/6 clubs.
