I have been out in Latin America for a bit and watching a lot of Brazilian football. I think some of the innovations they have are cool - marking where the wall should stand with spray paint that disappears a few minutes later, a water break after 20 and 65 minutes (good for World Cups etc) and they are doing the lineo behind the goal routine for the regional championships.

 

Watched Flamengo v Vasco tonight. The Vasco number 30, some young lad called Phillipe Coutinho was very good. Moreover, he was fouled in the box, went down and the full back who fouled him crawled over, lay down beside him, cradled his head and kissed him... More of that I say.
