doug_mac Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i fancy inter myself, backed them yesterday at 11/1 i hope none of the english teams win it
Gilps Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Mancs are going to win this again and the title. We're going to finish 7th. That's how great this f***ing season is.
Andy @ Allerton Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Mancs will win it at a Canter. They will also win the league without breaking sweat. Arsenal are largely a waste of space and Chelsea stand no chance with Terry's head up his a***, Cech out and the other players losing composure. The only good news in this is that the throbbing purpled nosed idiot will probably get off once they've swanned their way to #19.
goose island Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 can't look beyond man u for this. the only side i fancy to give them a game over 2 legs will be chelsea. not sure barcelona will have enough to get to the final 2 years running.
yellow jumper Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i backed chelsea at the begining of the season, as they'd just hired the best manager in champions' league football they've ever had. not sure now. hoping that barca will walk this, they're always a bit shaky about this time of year, lost to espanyol and athletico, drew with lyon and malaga at about the same stage last season, then they started battering everyone again.
ManxRed Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 We are about to become the SECOND most successful club in Britain and it hurts like f*ck. Worst.Season.Ever.

Ostrich Man Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Mancs are going to win this again and the title. We're going to finish 7th. That's how great this f***ing season is.please please please...
Nerik Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 One of Mancs, Chelsea, Barca or else I fancy someone such as Bordeaux or Lyon to cause an upset. Bayern and Inter will not get close I'd say.
muleskinner Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Barcelona will beat Bayern Munich in the final.
Roscoe Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 cant see past mutd. 19th title and 4th european cup. maybe it will relieve some of the historic burden on us? clutching...
sean Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 UtD are just set up to play sides from Italy. Pace and agression and these Italian sides just crumble. At least if Barcelona play them they'll keep the ball for longer periods which unsettles united.
D.Boon Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Lets wait till the Mancs have to play someone decent before handing them the trophy. Italian football is no barometer.

Pace and agression and these Italian sides just crumble. At least if Barcelona play them they'll keep the ball for longer periods which unsettles united. in a one-off game like last years final yes, but over two legs i united will be happy to soak that up. look at the way they play arsenal. even without ronaldo, they can still be lightning on the break. it's the old turn up for a 0-0, smash and grab they used at anfield a few years back.
goose island Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Lets wait till the Mancs have to play someone decent before handing them the trophy. Italian football is no barometer. if italian football isn't a barometer, who else is in the competition other than english clubs? united will walk over arsenal if they meet (who, by the way, seem to never play anyone remotely decent until the quarter finals every year). barcelona? beyond them and chelsea (and man u) there really is no-one capable of winning it this year.
Flasher Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Man Utd will win the Carling Cup this year and nothing else, I'm sure of it.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i fancy inter myself, backed them yesterday at 11/1 i hope none of the english teams win it Did the girl behind the counter laugh when you handed over your cash Cant see past the Utd/Chelsea/Barca.
lfc003 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Utd or Barca are the teams to beat, Fancy Bordeaux to get to the semi's aswell.
goose island Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Utd or Barca are the teams to beat, Fancy Bordeaux to get to the semi's aswell. yep, could be this years dark horses. potential to make the final if the draw suits.
doug_mac Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Did the girl behind the counter laugh when you handed over your cash Cant see past the Utd/Chelsea/Barca. stick your neck out why don't you fitz you cant see past the 3 favourites
Sion Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Lyon will take some beating. Very well organised team, don't concede. Dark horses. Might have a sneaky back to lay bet on them
yellow jumper Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i like them, and the 433 they play. that defence looks ordinary on paper, but they get men behind the ball and break with lots of pace and movement. think it's always a good sign in europe when you can stay in games when you don't have much of the ball.
