Conrad Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 dont see a topic up for tonights game. so what are we expecting team wise? will Aquilani start? will we go with 2 holding midfielders? I think he will start actually and I think he should.
Stew F Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Europe away, deffo 2 holding midfielders. With a change at about.... say 70 mins if it isnt working. - Sound familiar? Seriously though, all I want is more passion. Don't really care about who or even where they play. Just some passion and pride will do nicely. The main question for me is does he stick with Kuyt?
Gunga Din Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 I think he will start actually and I think he should. i agree. i wouldnt be upset to see 7 or 8 changes from Monday night
johngibo YPC Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Would be nice to see Babel and Riera out wideAquaman in with Masch and Gerrard off Torres

Conrad Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i agree. i wouldnt be upset to see 7 or 8 changes from Monday night rafa was proper f****d off after Monday. I think he may really change it around todayjohnson, babel, aquilani all to start
Gunga Din Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Would be nice to see Babel and Riera out wideAquaman in with Masch and Gerrard off Torres yep, with johnson starting at fullback and getting forward, wouldnt mind seeing Carra start at Left back if Agger and the Greek can start, allowing us to flip between a back 3 and back 4 with Johnson bombing forward, and us playing a more attacking game all round. if we start with an isolalted striker, 2 holding midfielders and Kuyt and Maxi, i'll be watching eggheads and the One Show
Leo No.8 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) if we start with an isolalted striker, 2 holding midfielders and Kuyt and Maxi, i'll be watching eggheads and the One Show Fortunately Maxi is ineligible tonight - I'd have joined you otherwise. I think Kuyt might get dropped tonight, just a gut feeling after his f*ck up Monday night. I think he should be dropped as well after the last few games, give him a rest and get a bit of pace in out wide with Babel and Riera. Babel is an absolute cert to start tonight, and I'm looking forward to watching him play after recent weeks. Him and Riera wide with Johnson right back would make us a totally different side. Bailo Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i agree. i wouldnt be upset to see 7 or 8 changes from Monday nightI'd drop gerrard and carra, but it might cause more problems than it solves. Reina Johnson---Kyrg---Agger---Insua Babel----Masch---Aqua----Riera -------------Pacheco------------------ ---------------------Torres-------------
johngibo YPC Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Kuyt doesn't get dropped. You know it, I know it. He didn't play in our last European game
Gunga Din Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Kuyt doesn't get dropped. You know it, I know it. he wants drop kicking after the other night, never mind dropped
Gomez Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Judging by @ryanbabel twitpic, it's going to be another c**t of a pitch. Hope this is not breaking some netiquette, seems to be mainly sand

Bailo Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Haven't Lille played in the CL? Shocker of a pitch.
CaptainXabi Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 what has Jay's ma said?Rafa kicked him off the charter flight after he bit Kyrgiakos on the knee for stealing his in-flight pillow. He's been asked to swim to France instead. Should be there for kickoff. (Did I do it right?)
Eiler99 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Is it true that Pacheco is away with the Spanish youth team?
smithdown Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 what has Jay's ma said? She's going to do some chips with that Corned Beef and do some peas and a few rounds of bread and butter. = Keep it nice and simple and tight. No unnecessary risks.
