iPhone / Tariff Question

I have an iPhone 3G on O2

 

I want to get a 3GS, but would like to pass on my existing iPhone to my wife.

 

Is there a facility within O2 (or any other provider that now support iPhone) to have two phone numbers under ONE Tariff? In other words, if I take out a contract tariff big enough that I won't use all the time / texts myself, could my wife be allocated to the same tariff, with a different phone number?

 

Alternatively, does anyone know what the smallest 'contract' tariff is for the iPhone as my wife (unusually) doesn't use the phoine that much.
