Me and my Bro were driving down the East Lancs one Saturday lunchtime way back, I turned on the radio to hear how Kenny Dalglish had scored two in a 5-2 (I think) win over Man City that morning.

 

So instead of going to an empty Anfield or watching the Grand National on telly we went to Deepdale (We were staying in Blackpool with my in laws) and watched Preston (with Trevor Cherry) and Bradford (with Alan Gowling) draw 0-0. It was utter utter rubbish and freezing cold.

 

but that still didn't make me as stoopid as Kev.

that also reminds me of the time I turned up at Stockport County 24 hours early to do a reserve game. They thought I was a council official come to inspect some building work. I never did tell them who I was but it was funny when I turned up the next day and put my black kit on. We had a laugh about after the game though. The manager at the time thought it was dead funny.
