Conundrum

A mouse is walking along a square. A to B takes 0.75 seconds B to C takes 0.75 seconds C to D takes 0.75 seconds, but D to A takes 75 seconds. I can't work out why it takes 100 times longer to go from D to A. Does anyone know the answer?
