Getting a birthday present to one of my closest friends and wondering if there are any connoisseurs around here.

I usually just buy 10-12 year olds as I haven't been able to afford any better. This time though I'm going up a notch and I'm wondering if anyone have any experience from the following brands and could recommend one for me:

 

Bladnoch 18 Years

 

Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 1991

 

Glencadam 1989

 

Glengoyne 21 Years

 

Inverleven

 

Longmorn

 

Mortlach Duthies 21 Years

 

Old Pulteney (Cask)

 

The BenRiach 20 Years

 

Those are the Scottish ones available here, alternatively I would consider trying a Japanese one. Either

 

Karuizawa 17 Years or Yamazaki Sherry Cask

 

Any advice for me eh?
