When I used to play Rugby (to a decent standard) - it was quite normal for someone to chin you, smash you in the jaw and whatever - but you didn't whine like a girl and go to the ref - you waited til you had a chance to smack them back - and if you didn't? Then you had a pint with them later on.

I think that's my all-time favourite foul. Made even better by the fact his boot came off.

So it is better to wait and be a sneaky s***house though and t*** them/grab their b******s/kick them in the head/stick your finger in their eye when they are on the ground and when the ref isn't looking?

 

Rugby players are every bit as embarrasing but then admitting that would spoil your 'I hate football' affectation.

 

If you insist on pointless comparisons of completely different sports, then i'd say ice hockey would be the one to look at - the refs just let them get on with it and then sort it when it they're done.
