I have a confession to make.

I sometimes rediscover a record and it feels like the missing piece of a jigsaw. I look back and can't imagine living my life without this record. And then I become utterly obsessed with it and can play it many times in a row over a period of a few hours, a few days and even a week or more. They are always records that I previously knew of, go off the radar for many years and then suddenly appear again without warning. Then...bang. And away we go. Until I get bored of it obviously.

Currently, I have a thing with 'Our Lips Are Sealed' by Fun Boy Three (probably not the Go Go's version though and deffo not the Hilary Duff version). It is possibly the most brilliant, intimate and sexy record I have ever heard - for now. It's currently on repeat and has no real signs of moving.

I've mentioned previously my obsessions with;

'Slave to the rhythm' by Grace Jones

'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac (FFS!)

'Bonny' by Prefab Sprout

'I can't go for that' by Hall and Oates

'Ed's Funky Diner' by It's Immaterial

This is what the current fuss is about;
