... a happy side effect. My missus is a care manager in a dementia unit (Feck off Kahnee), some of the stories can break your heart, it's the cruellest disease reducing once bright and effective people to pathetic tearful frightened wrecks. Then this week she told me about this old boy, a new patient who was a widower. Apparently he came face to face with this old dear who lost her husband a few years back. Apparently (according to the families) each bear a striking real resemblance to their respective 'late' spouse.

 

Well that's good enough for these two, so far as these two are concerned it is in fact their wife/husband reincarnated, they've forgotten their deaths and just got on as normal. They have conversations which neither listen too as they're too busy telling their own stories, they walk around holding hands and even sleep in the same room. For all we know they're even getting a shag!!

 

The bad stories outweigh the good ones about 1000 to 1 but what a great little spin off. I thought so anyway, and again FECK OFF KAHNEE.
