Over-rated albums

Just been reacquainted with the majority of my record collection, and there's some stuff in there that I've bought because of it's reputation or because I thought I should have it. A lot of that stuff is not as good as it's generally made out to be.

 

Sgt. Peppers - a mess of an album

Burial - Burial...good, but tends towards the tedious

Community Music - Asian Dub Foundation...one of the few albums to get 10/10 in Melody Maker, 1/10 would be more accurate

The Greatest - Cat Power...The Averagest

Guero - Beck...rave reviews, really poor

LCD Soundsystem...I get what they're doing, I just don't like it that much

Psyence Fiction - U.N.K.L.E...good God, what was I thinking?

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots - Flaming Lips...just don't get it
