Pompey and the 3 points....

If Portsmouth are wound up, do we get our 3 points back?

I don't think we'd get an extra 3, but everyone who beat them would lose 3. Which would be nice.

If Portsmouth are wound up/go into liquidation, all results with teams having already played Portsmouth would be null & void. Seeing as we lost to Portsmouth & Arsenal have done the double, we would benefit the most by going 3rd in the table & Arsenal 4th.

It's win-win

Furthermore, United would go 5 points behind Chelsea (Currently 2) and also lose the 5 goals they scored last weekend. I wouldn't want to wish ill of any football teams demise but...............

we'll only be 6 points behind united (3 if we win tonight and united lose to villa), and with 3 points more or less guranteed at old toilet, Its fair to say that It's on

we'd have an outside chance of winning the title if it did though.

MAN UTD 23 50

LIVERPOOL 24 44

Isn't the 'and they are unpaid' part of that statement a bit redundant? By definition a debt is unpaid. How can you have a paid debt?

isn't the "a bit" part of your question redundant? Either it's redundant or it isn't. How can something be a bit redundant?

That's tremendous pendantry. I salute you.
