anfield11 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I need to know some valuable information that is pivatol to the game. More than who is playing. More than the tactics.....who's the ref!?
Leo No.8 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I need to know some valuable information that is pivatol to the game. More than who is playing. More than the tactics.....who's the ref!? The FA have been working hard in their labs to try to clone some sort of Lee Mason / Phil Dowd hybrid creature which never sleeps, never tires and is 73% more likely to give decisions against Liverpool whilst puliling annoying faces and prancing about the pitch in a pompous way.

So it's Bennett then!!

Bogman Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Going to this, but in the a*** end, with a mate who's got a season ticket there. Seeing as I'm an OOT'er, and a cocker-knee sounding scally to boot, should fit in fine there. Really looking forward to it. Least I won't have to listen to their songs.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I hate playing Arsenal away, hate it. I think its the away game I hate the most even ahead of the other big ones.
richwilks Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I would have thought the side would look something like... Reina Carra - Skrtel - Agger - Insua Kuyt - Lucas - Masch - Riera Gerrard Ngog Maybe Maxi in for Ngog and Kuyt up top.
Swipe Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I hate playing Arsenal away, hate it. I think its the away game I hate the most even ahead of the other big ones. I always expect a defeat.
Bogman Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I always expect a defeat. And we normally get it. Am a tad affraid of a re-action from them. A tad more afraid than a tad.
Ripley Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I need to know some valuable information that is pivatol to the game. More than who is playing. More than the tactics.....who's the ref!?Webb has the game. Bennett with the board. Great.

Cunny Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 From Optajoe on Twitterhttp://twitter.com/optajoe 6 - Only six teams in the Premier League have conceded more goals on home soil than Arsenal this season. Flaw.
CarraLegend Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Thats because Thomas Vermaelen is f***ing crap. Gael Clichy is f***ing crap and Manuel Almunia is f***ing crap. Unfortunately we've also spent most of the season being f***ing crap.

Unfortunately we've also spent most of the season being f***ing crap. I really hope we adopt a shoot on sight policy wednesday Almunia is with doubt the worst keeper in the league.
Chili Palmer Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I really hope we adopt a shoot on sight policy wednesday Almunia is with doubt the worst keeper in the league. does that mean that he isn't the worst then?
sean Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 does that mean that he isn't the worst then? I don't doubt it.
Falconhoof Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 who has beaten them at the Emirates this season ?Only Man U and Chelsea I think.
Hieronymus Bosch Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Our injuries could be a blessing in disguise for this game. Our absences and poor form this season mean we're going to be less cautious than we have been in recent meetings with Arsenal, where they have had success on the counter-attack. This time, I expect us to try to give them a taste of their own medicine, by absorbing their pressure and frustrating them - I just hope we have enough firepower to punish them on the break. This is probably the best way of playing against them and is a tactic we're good at executing against flair teams, even in a run of form when we struggle to break down modest opposition.
