the guys who text into the bbc's very piss-poor min-min updates are pretty uniformly d****eads. I was out & about on Saturday, so was getting my updates from that....these amused me:

From Paul, London, via text on 81111: "I'm a City fan but I agree with Dan W. I'm staggered that nobody is talking about Leighton Baines. Every time I've seen him he has been world-class."

Had a mini-argument with a friend of a friend on Facebook last night. He was clearly a Manc and reckons Reina isn't as good as he was, and it's been proved by the way he's failed at set pieces and crosses this season.

 

 

Laughed at him and told him anyone who's even half-heartedly watched us this season could see how immense he is and how he's saved us from even worse results. He didn't reply.

 

It all started cos he joined it to agree with a Spurs fella who was blaming Rafa for Keane failing at Spurs and going to Celtic.

 

Football fans are thick really.
