David Simon's new series starts in April. I didn't realise it had been commissioned for a series or that Dr. John, Allen Toussaint and Donald Harrison, among others, are scheduled to appear along side Wendell Piece and Clark Peters. Add in George Pelacanos, David Mills and Tom Piazza (who wrote a brilliant book called Why New Orelans Matters) to the writing team and it could be something really special.
