Falconhoof Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I'd be made up if somebody accidentally plunged a steak knife into him.
Maldini Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Strange game for him to turn up to, must be something up
BG Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Strange game for him to turn up to, must be something up Probably just wants to see Big Kev in the flesh.
Zoob Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) are the stairs in the stadium slippery and treacherous? Edited January 30, 2010 by Zoob

Ed the Wool Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Nice to see him looking frail and old. All that poison and greed taking it's toll.
honourablegeorge Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Probably just wants to see Big Kev in the flesh. Big Kev must know he's in the shop window, he's stuck one in for us.
Maldini Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Nice to see him looking frail and old. All that poison and greed taking it's toll. So much so that Fairclough in the commentary thought it was Hicks' brother.
Zoob Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 So much so that Fairclough in the commentary thought it was Hicks' brother. Indeed. He did look pretty ill. kind of greeny / yellow.
ali Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 So much so that Fairclough in the commentary thought it was Hicks' brother. brother Bill sat next him
Falconhoof Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Indeed. He did look pretty ill. kind of greeny / yellow. Anyone heard anything about Hicks and Cancer ? Wiki, no source.
Gomez Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anyone heard anything about Hicks and Cancer ? Wiki, no source. Usually I wouldn't mock the afflicted...
muleskinner Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Bit crass to speculate on wikipedia page given what its suggesting.
Falconhoof Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Bit crass to speculate on wikipedia page given what its suggesting. f*** him
muleskinner Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 f*** him Actually, I think you may be right.
Zoob Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 What is clear is that he really didn't look well, and if he has got health problems, it's possible that he might prioritise things differently, and realise that grimly hanging onto the club for 10 years to get that billion dollar payday he's dreaming of, may not be in his best interests.
dorgie Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 If he has pancreatic cancer, he's pretty much f***ed : Pancreatic cancer is a malignant neoplasm of the pancreas. Each year in the United States, about 42,470 individuals are diagnosed with this condition and 35,240 die from the disease.[1] The prognosis is relatively poor but has improved; the three-year survival rate is now about thirty percent (according to the Washington University School of Medicine), but less than 5 percent of those diagnosed are still alive five years after diagnosis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancreatic_cancer
Falconhoof Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I doubt he'd fly out for the game if he had just had that diagnosis. Its probably just rumour mongering. Hope it distresses him though when he hears what people are saying about him.
johngibo YPC Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 There were texts flying round bfore the game today about a protest at the Main Stand after. Unfortunatly i didnt go today, so i have no idea how it wentHicks really didn't look well though. This is what baffles me. G&H are old men. I don't really know why they are bothering with the whole thing. Just sell up and go and live on a ranch
Gomez Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 If he has pancreatic cancer, he's pretty much f***ed : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancreatic_cancer Isn't that what killed Bill Hicks?

Hope it distresses him though when he hears what people are saying about him. If (and huge if) he does have pancreatic cancer, there's nothing to say that he's just been diagnosed with it. Chances are it's a load of bull, but that doesn't change the fact that he really didn't look at all well. Isn't that what killed Bill Hicks? yes. Think who-ever edited that Wiki entry may just have been being cheeky.
Maldini Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 He doesn't have cancer for f***s sake. It's Wikipedia!
Gomez Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 He doesn't have cancer for f***s sake. It's Wikipedia! Maybe it meant to say, Tom Hicks IS a cancer.
