Just been reported on SSN. Strange that they didn't sell Moses to try to stave this off - might suggest that they're in such a mess, selling him wouldn't have made any difference.

Simon Jordan so far unavailable for comment....

That'll be a first

They're only 4 points off the playoffs with a game in hand

No idea why they didn't sell Moses to at least give them till June to see if they can get up

They must be f***ed financially. Jordan probably spent all the money on spray-on tan.

I wonder why we did not pick up Moses? for 3mil, worth the gamble. Also, the right age to be considered 'homegrown' in the new rules.

I liked palace before warnock and still have a soft spot.

when jordon used to write a column, I actually liked him.

From what I can gather, Jordan has stopped putting in handouts to keep the place running and cant find a buyer who'll pay him what he wants including repayment of personal loans. Seems it might be a way to clear a lot of debt without making relegation a certainty, knowing they probably wouldn't go up.

Colin speaks...

Denoucing the timing (like Palace have a full say in that....) as there's a week left in the window so they might lose their young talent(s) to other clubs for fees which may help keep the club afoat..

Or they could keep them until Feb 1 and then have to fire them all (or default on their contracts) as they can't pay their wages.....

Wow!!! Is that the first time he hasnt blamed Rafa Benitez for something?

He was defending Mick McCarthy's decision to rest players against Palace on Saturday. Completely without irony

They needed £3m to avoid administration and they've only had offers of £1.5m so far.

It has been a pretty impressive hyping of a not very well-known player to be fair. The way the press has told the story every club in the world is watching him. Its got to the point where if God was selecting a team to watch on a Sunday after a hard week stiring up hatred on the planet, he'd have a hard choice between Moses and Pukas for the striking position. He'd most likely go for the Palace man because the name would remind him of a glorious servant of the old ways.

Other than that, I've always had a little bit of a soft spot for Palace mostly because of their late 70s kit and the 9-0 game at Anfield but the current combination of Tikka man and little Ingerlander makes it difficult to feel any sympathy.
