So, what's going to happen with Stevie back?

 

Aquilani still behind Kuyt with Stevie in for Lucas or Mascherano? Can't really see either of those two not playing. Stevie on the bench or does Alberto find himself back there after a promising performance against Spurs?

 

Any news on if Agger is back? The Greek probably deserves to play anyway. Carra at full back with Agger and the Greek in the middle? Also, when's Glo Jo back?

I'll be disappointed if Aquilani doesn't play. As wiill Aquilani, I'd imagine.

Would like to see Gerrard play on the right side of a similar lineup, with Degen moving back to right back and Carra moving inside for Skrtel.

 

The shape looked good against Spurs with some real width. Stevie on the right wouldn't take anything away from the shape but would add considerable quality. I think this would allow us to reward the players who battled so hard for the points against Spurs by sticking with a similar setup and only the one change of Skrtel who still worries me.

 

Its a little more attacking with Degen at right back as well, which against Wolves we should be.

Can't see us being 3-0 up at any point and don't see this game being an easy one at all, however if we were to be in that position he can keep his backside parked on that bench as there's no need to risk him unless we need him to do something

I don't think we get the best out of Gerrard when we push him straight back in. I'd have preferred to see Aquilani get some sort of consistent run of games.

I agree with this. Aquilani looked like he was finding his feet in the last game, had plenty of rest in between, can't really see the upside to not playing him.
