Just seems very small time to sue a club that you used to captain especially if they are having massive financial problems. He's got all the money he will ever need and rather than sticking the knife in he should be grateful that pompey probably extended his career by another 3 years!

He really is all that is wrong with modern footballers!

If pompey do go under as previously noted will we be given our dropped points? bleh.gif

Sol is well in order asking for his money. I feel sorry for their plight but it's not Campbell's fault, the man played his heart out for them and wants his wages, nothing wrong with that, it's not like he was involved in the shennaigans which sent them skint now is it?

I can understand that he wants his wages and all but i just think it seems a bit sh*t of him as there ex captain who is still making enough money to live on!

Would he care if the money he takes sends them under!

To be fair, that's not his problem. They owe him the money.

he is sticking the boot into a club in trouble. he is loaded and isnt going to be skint if he doesnt get the money he is owed. he done the dirt on spurs and now doesnt care if he sinks portsmouth. he is an example of money grabbing bar steward

Should the football clubs and other institutions that Portsmouth owe money to, most of who are far further from being skint than Campbell, give up their claims too?

Since signing Campbell, Wenger is rumoured to be bidding for Oprah, Barry White and Luther Vandross in an attempt to switch to a fat black four.

They'd have a huge advantage in dead ball situations

Agree..No one held a gun to Portsmouth when they signed him to a contract and £1.7 million(allegedy) is a hell of alot of money for anyone to let slide.

He has every right to get the money owed to him by Portsmouth.

Every single person owed anything by the club should go after them for what is rightfully due to them.

Just because it's a club in trouble should make no difeerence whatsoever.

Maybe, other clubs, and the FA will sit and take notice of this situation which has clearly been a disaster waiting to happen, and has been ignored by the authorities.

Whilst he's every right to go for what's owed. When someone at the end of their career in a middling club can rack up £1.7m in owed earnings from IMAGE RIGHTS and BONUSES of all things,

It's a tax dodge, image rights can be paid to his image company directly, which will be based in the Cayman Islands or similar
