PeeG Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Put this up on a few forums already and is a bit of interest in it. Who would be up for getting the flags out on Anfield Road as the coaches come in to show the lads even more that we are behind them. Loads of flags and wavers and as many people as possible needed. Meet down at the Shankly Gates at 6pm, to set up wavers and then can spread out a bit down the road so there is enough space for the flags for when the coaches come around 6.30. Scare the Spurs players and make our lads feel 10 feet tall when they walk off the coach and then into the ground early to sing on the lads with a loud 'European Night' atmosphere.
johngibo YPC Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Yeah Gray text me about this last night. Good idea. Plus, cans on the street is always a winner
CarraLegend Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Well in for organising this, judging by rawk and the rattle its got a lot of momentum already. I'll try and get there in time. Cant wait for this one.
Coyler Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 That sounds like an excellent idea altogether.
Billy Dane Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Brilliant idea. A nice big welcome to anfield banner out front.
Flasher Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 If I were Rafa and I heard about this happening , I would insist that the players get off the coach 500 yards from the ground and walk through the fans for a morale boost. Brian Clough did this with Forest once.
Gunga Din Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 need a big big atmosphere tomorrow night. a convincing win tomorrow could kick start the season. infact, i'd say tomorrows game is the most important game we may play this season

It might finish off any remaining bit of confidence we've got. A win though and it's suddenly a step closer to 4, unbeaten in 4 league games and things look a lot better.

Billy Dane Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Thought the crowd was excellent tonight Harry Redknapp thought the same as well. Very complimentary tbf despite them singing about him "being taxed in the morning"
