slapnuts Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 He gaurenteed top four finish now he takes on Spurs........ with dramatic music and a picture of Rafa. Why did they not go a different way.... He may be going to jail. His face looks like its been melted he has a dead squirell for hair. Harry Redknapp is taking on Liverpool. Sky and the press are desperate for rafa to get sacked its ridiculous.
MFletcher Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Of course they are. Rafa doesn't play the media game. He seems to consider press conferences a chore. He doesn't give them juicy titbits about players, which means they don't have anything to write about. Redknapp and Allardyce will happily talk to these people all day - give them access, give them stories, and that means when things get tough they get off light. Rafa doesn't play the game, so whenever things are going bad he doesn't have the personal relationships to draw upon to insulate him from criticism. I much prefer it that way as well. We don't need a manager who actively cultivates a media personality. Rafa gets on with the job.
madaboutlfc Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Sky and the press have a problem with Liverpool. It has always been the case.. even when we were winning it was the case.. There has always been the self pity tag etc.. Scousers should move on etc etc attached with us.. unfortunately, amongst us there are few who are gullible enough not to see that
Maldini Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Anyone see Rafa's post match interview? That Andy Burton is an awful c*** (in the tradition of Sky) Rafa was talking about the peno and said "27,000 people could see it was a peno" Burton goes "did you think it was a peno" Rafa says "I was one of the 27,000" and Burton says "did you think it was a peno though" then repeats this about 7 times. He just answered your question!
Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Noticed the ad too. Pathetic. Never seen them do that for any other under pressure manager. They speak about any manager facing the sack as a sad reminder of the pressure of football, but with Rafs they are absolutely busting for him to get the boot. c****.
Red Kent Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 What do you expect ? Seriously what do you expect them to do ? If you don't like it cancel your subscription.
Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I expect them to advertise the f***ing game. Not try to pile more pressure on one of the managers involved. Not f***ing difficult
Red Kent Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I expect them to advertise the f***ing game. Not try to pile more pressure on one of the managers involved. Not f***ing difficult Sky is all sensationlism, it sells more. What more do you expect, they are hyping up their product. Grand Slam Sunday and all that.
Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 They're c**** is what they are. And they'd never do it to another manager. f***ing Appy Arry is facing the nick. Say something about that you bunch of pricks.

Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 So they'll just take more glee sticking the knife into Rafa? Nice work
Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I think it's pointless debating anything Rafa related with you so I'll just stop.
Red Kent Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I think it's pointless debating anything Rafa related with you so I'll just stop. Why, this is about Sky and their advertisement of Wednesday's game. If you were expecting them not to crank up the anti then you are misguided at best. Ofcourse they are going to put the boot in.
Swipe Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Course I'm not misguided. I give off about their treatment of us all the time. Just cos it's something that happens all the time doesn't mean we shouldn't vent about it and point it out. You seem to be suggesting it's par for the course and it's not personal against Rafa. Can't accept that at all. No other manager gets such disrespect.

Red Kent Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Tell you what, and I don't mean this disrespectfully towards anyone, but write to Sky and complain with your views and see what happens.
Cheesecake Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 (edited) Tell you what, and I don't mean this disrespectfully towards anyone, but write to Sky and complain with your views and see what happens. Here is what will happen. . Edited January 16, 2010 by DPD1973

Red Lecter Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 So because it will make no difference, does this mean that it's alright?

He just answered your question! every interviewer does that to him, it f***ing bugs me. Asks him the same question then he wont answer it, ask him again, then try to word it differently. its pathetic. I would not be that bothered if it happened to everyone but its just Rafa all the time. i'd love him to say i have just answered your question you thick c*** now ask me something different or I am leaving. What do you expect ? Seriously what do you expect them to do ? If you don't like it cancel your subscription. I expect them to say Liverpool - Spurs is on wednesday night like they do other matches, its getting like the wwe the way sky go on with football. They can't and you know why. Why is that? They could give benitez a heart attack or something the way they are going on. I wonder if they did they would stop the c****.
meepins Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 He may be going to jail. His face looks like its been melted he has a dead squirrel for hair. Harry Redknapp is taking on Liverpool.

Red Kent Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Why is that? They could give benitez a heart attack or something the way they are going on. I wonder if they did they would stop the c****. Because there is an ongoing court case and any publicity could have an adverse affect on the trial and/or result.
