He did make a couple of decent driving runs up the wing, cutting in a few times too. The rest of his performance was in par with the teams.

Well exactly, but if you're giving one, you've got to give the other.

If Degen wasn't injured then I would of taken off Lucas and brought on Pacheco.

Degen has played pretty well every time I've seen him. I've got no idea why some seem to have such a downer about the lad.

His 'highlight' reel (all 2 games shown) seem to show exactly what he was doing last night, getting forward but not really doing anything once there. Still though, guess it can be improved.

Last night told me nothing to change my opinion that there is a player in there with Degen, if he could stay fit enough to play a few games consecutively.

 

He gets forward well at times and is decent enough defensively.

He looked fecked at the end. I wasnt surprised to see him come off and Skrtel was the correct move.

He barely got a cross in or tried one too dribble to many. Hence the "didn't do enough with it".

 

What you said is of course true, but he still could have done better on a few occasions.

 

That said, I thought he was decent enough. He's a strong runner.

Agree with this. Think he could have been a very good signing if didnt get injured every 30 minutes.
