The lineup for those interested:

Chamberlain, Flanagan, Wisdom, McGiveron, Robinson, Ince, Coady, Roberts, Buchtmann, Ngoo, Dalla Valle.

Lads on TLW reckon Adam Pepper's off to the blue noses after falling out with the under 18 manager...was rumoured to be leaving anyway when the NOTW reported it a few weeks ago...would be a shame

3-0, Ince with the goal

I really like Pepper as a player, no idea why he's not getting a game for the u18s. I think he's probably too small to make it though, who knows, he might grow a few inches over the next couple of years but he's tiny.

Watched this last night. LdV is a cross between Fowler and Solskjaer - in their pomp. (Caveat - I know the potential downfalls with young players but...)

The ability to score all types of goals and make it look easy seems natural to him. His third goals, hit early and into the side of the net before the keep had got sent was a real mark of a class finisher. I know he's been injured a lot this season but must move him up through the ranks as quickly as possible. also, Buchtmann looks a good player too and has progressed since I last saw him.

Thought Buchtmann looked very good. Composed on the ball, eye for a pass and worked hard. Don't think he has the pace to be a winger but reminds me of a yong Gareth Barry.

Thought Wisodm looked very dominating at CB too, the kid seems to have a bright future.

Think Wisdom will come on with age.

Haha!

Didn't Dalla Valle have a bust-up of sorts due to his non-progress a couple of months ago?

It was reported that Roy Hodgson was willing to offer something stupid like £5M for him.

That really was a sensational result last night. That Leicester side are 8 points clear at the top of their table with 12 wins and 2 draws from 14 games. This crop of u18s are a weird group, they're really young (vast majority are first years) and they've some pretty poor players, but there are 3 or 4 who are really great prospects. Dalla Valle makes a huge difference at this level, he's so much better than those around him it's not true. It's a real shame he's been injured this season because he'd be first choice for the reserves by now if he hadn't I think. I'll be surprised if he, Wisdom and Buchtmann don't make it to our first team squad at least. Ince has a good chance as well if he improves his decision making.

Agree with that altho think Ince needs to be a lot stronger on the ball as well.

Highlights are up on the FA site incl. interview with Borrell and "the number 10" as he was called throughout by his manager.

Note Tom Ince with the Rafa celebration after the 5th goal.
