How are footballers different/same to regular folk?

Different:

 

REgular folk don't have to train over christmas and new year

 

We can call in sick if we are not up for it

 

We don't end up in the newspaper if we go on a bender, get caught speeding or with our pants down

 

We can use facebook, twitter or other things without getting bogged down by hangers on

 

If we don't like our job we can quit and usually get another one, or take 6 months out to travel or 'find ourselves'

 

when we travel for business, we usually get our own room and not have to share

 

 

Same:

 

We could work at the same place, but work for 3 different bosses and 3 different owners doing exactly the same job
