Boca Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 I know there's not much happening but thought we might as well have one of these for the last week of transfer window. Anyway Sky are saying the Mancs have had a bid for Fulham's Chris Smalling accepted.

Arsenal have also had a bid accepted. I'm sure this isn't the first time United have announced that they've signed someone when they actually haven't. Must admit I'd never heard of Smalling until this week.

It would be so funny if they made a balls of this like they did Ramsay signing.
Gilps Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 There should be considerably more laughter on here about Senderos going to Everton.
Benzo-13 Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 They must've bought Smalling with Ocean Finance?
Cam Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 Apparently they've signed him and loaned him back for the season - hence his appearance tonight.
Zoob Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Spurs apparently close to re-signing Younes Kaboul from Portsmouth. I know it's 'appy 'arry, but I can't believe more eye-brows aren't being raised by these weird to-and-fro transfers between Portsmouth and Spurs. Here
CarraLegend Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Jesus, Spurs seem to re-sign anyone they sell. Next summers big transfers will be "Berba" and Zokora. Loves a player does 'arry.

Smacks of Harry trying to help Portsmouth out. They already have 4 centre backs, 5 if you include Corluka who can play there. Kaboul is s**** as well
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Pompey have probably promised him 50% of the fee

Nebraska Red Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Robinho out at Citeh. Manchester City have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to loan Robinho to Santos for a period of six months. It is understood that the Brazilian will now return to his homeland on Sunday, with City announcing Santos will assume all of the player's contract terms, including wages and bonuses. according to SKY Sports
CarraLegend Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) Im sure Gold and Sullivan had a right go about the garbage useless old foreign players that were clogging up West Ham's wage bill the other week. Well they're getting Benny McCarthy, some 29 year old St Ettiene reserve and are now apparently talking to Mido! Edited February 1, 2010 by CarraLegend
Alonso Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Victor Moses gone to Wigan for £2.5m after being linked with us, Chelsea, Man Utd, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Hassony Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I hope Mido doesn't make his debut against us, as that's the only game he'll score in On 01/02/2010 at 13:20, Alonso said: Victor Moses gone to Wigan for £2.5m after being linked with us, Chelsea, Man Utd, Barcelona and Real Madrid. sack Rafa, Carlo, Mr Ferguson, Pepe and Valdano/Perez
Zoob Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) Marca reporting that Man City have bought Gago for 16 million. Would be funny if true - City collecting defensive midfielders, and not sure what it says about Barry... Keane possibly on loan to Celtic Edited February 1, 2010 by Zoob

Sion Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) Man City fans must be furious. They were expecting massive signings and they got Adam Johnson and Vieira on a free Serves them right the bunch of whoppers. Edited February 1, 2010 by Sion
Minder78 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Keane to Celtic. Kamara will score more goals for them.
stressederic Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Quote Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports news: "The chairman rang me an hour ago asking me what I thought about it. Nothing sorted yet but it probably will happen. Robbie Keane's too good a player not to be starting. I think it's a move that appeals to him. He's a big Celtic man and to play for them - he's a bit like Roy Keane, he dreams of playing for Celtic one day. And we're strong in that position up front." Does that quote even make the slightest bit of sense?
