I know there's not much happening but thought we might as well have one of these for the last week of transfer window.

 

Anyway Sky are saying the Mancs have had a bid for Fulham's Chris Smalling accepted.

Man Utds web site have apparently said they've signed him. Fulham have said no you haven't. Arsenal have also had a bid accepted.

I'm sure this isn't the first time United have announced that they've signed someone when they actually haven't.

 

 

Must admit I'd never heard of Smalling until this week.

They did it with Aaron Ramsey.

This Smalling fella must be an absolute beast in the reserves as they can't be going off his first team games.

Spurs apparently close to re-signing Younes Kaboul from Portsmouth.

 

I know it's 'appy 'arry, but I can't believe more eye-brows aren't being raised by these weird to-and-fro transfers between Portsmouth and Spurs.

This is beyond dodgy. Smacks of Harry trying to help Portsmouth out. They already have 4 centre backs, 5 if you include Corluka who can play there.

And, just incase you weren't entirely sure, they're talking about buying their keeper Begovic (sp) too, even though he's already played for 2 clubs this season, so wouldn't even be allowed to play for them.

Robinho out at Citeh.

 

Manchester City have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to loan Robinho to Santos for a period of six months.

 

It is understood that the Brazilian will now return to his homeland on Sunday, with City announcing Santos will assume all of the player's contract terms, including wages and bonuses.

Im sure Gold and Sullivan had a right go about the garbage useless old foreign players that were clogging up West Ham's wage bill the other week.

 

Well they're getting Benny McCarthy, some 29 year old St Ettiene reserve and are now apparently talking to Mido!

Marca reporting that Man City have bought Gago for 16 million. Would be funny if true - City collecting defensive midfielders, and not sure what it says about Barry...

His agent / the media did do a fantastic job of hyping him, when most of us really have no idea whether or not he's any good. 2.5 million actually seems a bit risky...

Man City fans must be furious. They were expecting massive signings and they got Adam Johnson and Vieira on a free
