We were playing a Sunday league match and were 3-0 down at half time, we came back to 3-2 and got a corner. I ran up to take it ( I was a right-back) pulled out a sweet right-foot curler and it was in the net before one of their defenders got a head to it.

That was my first ever game at Anfield. We were 0-2 down, then McManaman scored. HT 1-2. Bjornebye scored a free-kick and we drew 2-2. We then conceded again and trailed 3-2 and were out on away goals (we had won 2-1 away). Barnes then scored that backheel, Fowler grabbed a brace and Berger wrapped it up at the end. Amazing game.

With 25 mins to go we were still 4-0 but I was still twitchy, then it went 4-1, 4-2 then Barnes made it 5-2.

 

They made it 5-4 with a couple of mins to go

 

Finished 5-4 but they had a couple of half chances

 

Think Lee chapman may have scored all 4 of their goals
