Heard the tail end of an interview with him today on Sky Sports News regarding Mark Hughes/City etc.

Maybe if I had changed my name 3 years ago to Sam Allardycee (or some pish like that)

He is a bellend of the highest order.

Heard fathead Bruce talking about Hughes going and he also turned it into a "why are so many big clubs ignoring British managers in favour of nasty foreigners" argument.

Tedious.

I read that on BBC. He also said something along the lines of 'You don't see many British manager's in their league's' . Whatever that's supposed to mean. I wish the reporter had pointed out that you don't see many British players in Venezuela, Honduras or Egypt, but he has no problem bringing them into the league ahead of promoting British youth.

They're so ignorant and two-faced Bruce, Allardyce etc. They need to get rid of the chip's on their shoulders and concentrate on doing their jobs.

Mcclaren might be an average manager, but he deserves credit for going abroad and actually doing well

Yep I'll give him a bit of credit for that. Same with Chris Coleman actually. In fact it's one of the reasons why I have such respect for Roy Hodgson. English managers and players should be trying their hands in foreign leagues.

Yes they should, especially managers I think. Allardyce is never going to get on the big Premiership jobs, just from the evidence of keeping Bolton and Blackburn in the Premiership. Go to Holland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy etc, do well or win something, and build up a reputation and CV. European experience and success, allied to Premiership experience, would be a much more attractive prospect to the owner of a top club.

I can understand players wanting to stay here, as it's the top league. Players who are maybe struggling to get a game though at a decent club, and either bench warming or going out on loan, should consider trying to make a name for themselves overseas.

Doing well is being harsh. He's done tremendously. They play excellent football, defend well and are really, really good to watch.

And he speaksh the lingo.

Almost immediately, which is magnificent

Saw that and it really made me laugh because of how deluded his sentiment was. He absolutely genuinely believes that the reason he's not managing a top team or England is because he's not foreign. Has absolutely nothing to do with his staggering mediocrity as a manager.

He still does his interviews in English with that Dutch accent. You'd have thought he'd have got the message by now.

That was comedy gold.

To be fair to him, I always did that whenever I went to Eindhoven.

I told someone that I was Jan Kromkamps cousin. I'm not sure if they believed me

Someone should answer his question for him
